AES worked with Carbide Industries as the lead el ectrical and engineering firm for a design/build on their new Louisville facility. Carbide Industries possess the Largest Electric Arc Furnace in the US. AES performed Modifications to 15KV Sub-Yard, Power Factor Correction Installation, 15Kv Power Distribution, 480v Power Distribution, Lighting, Fire Alarm System, Pre-Action System, Sub-Yard Fence Grounding, Analog and Digital I/O Installed and wired (3) 22mva, 15kva Xfmrs, Bldg included installation of:

• 66 Miles of Building Wire
• 10 Miles of Control and Thermocouple Cabling
• 1 Mile of 705 kcmil Medium Voltage Wire
• 6 Miles of Conduit and Cable Tray
• 6 PLC Control Panels
