Scope: $82 million dollar project integrated heavy freight into UPS Operations System. Incredibly fast paced, turn-key project – airline and trucking re-routed on turn-key date—global implications. Project involved new construction portion while simultaneously renovating existing facility while it remained in operation. AES was highlighted in National Electrical Contractor magazine December 2007 for this profile project for the world’s largest package delivery operations.
Site power and lighting, fiber and high voltage duct bank. Installation of 4000 amp HV Metal Clad HVL feeding (4) 4000 amp substations. Primary building power and lighting, completion of 200,000 sq ft office space on mezzanine. Fire Alarm
system, assisted in design build of (17) MOD Decks, the entry point into the building from airplanes on the runway, (76) dock door power and lighting, cable tray. 60% of the construction took place while working in TSA Security controlled space.
