Peak 10 Louisville specializes in the hosting and management of complex IT environments, ensuring the availability, security and integrity of critical data and business applications around the clock. The company owns and operates two world-class data centers in Louisville.
AES was selected by Peak 10 to design a new 22,000 sq ft data center for their future growth and expansion. A compressed schedule, need for uninterrupted data operations required installation with concurrent design completion. We were given a budget number and were able to design an electrical and mechanical system to support their future growth needs for one of Louisville’s leading data centers.
AES was asked to perform as the general contractor for the project and coordinated all crafts installation and owners purchases of equipment meeting stringent turnkey timelines. Electrical installation consisted of (20) CRAC Units, (5) Dry Coolers, (3) UPS Systems, 9,000 sq ft raised floor, 1,500 sq ft NOC and office area, security system, fire alarm system, generator and ATS install, 4000 amp Switch Gear. The facility required redundant power systems through separate utility services with backup emergency and UPS power available. This building fit out with under floor receptacles provided power to over 600+ server racks throughout.
